Taylormade R1 Driver Earned Dustin The Big Check In Hyundai Tournament-disise.com

Golf Dustin Johnson shot a closing 68 to win the wind-battered Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Hawaii by four shots from fellow American Steve Stricker. He took home the victory at the 2013 Hyundai Tournament of Champions on Tuesday, and he also took home the $1.12 million purse given to the winner. That was a chunk of the $5.7 million total earnings given out during the tournament in Kapalua, Hawaii.  Dustin shot 16-under for the tournament and with his 5-under 68 in the tournament’s third round, he easily held off runner-up and last year’s Hyundai Tournament winner, Steve Stricker. Fellow American Brandt Snedeker came in third place with a 10-under finish, while Bubba Watson and Keegan Bradley tied for fourth place at 9-under.  Johnson has been the winner of the past three tournaments that were capped at 54 holes, who gained the first win for new TaylorMade R1 Driver . While he almost drove the 420-yard downwind 12th, he also lost a ball in the rough and, on the par-5 9th, pulled it enough to find a native area of high grass and trees. Despite reported winds of 30 miles per hour, Johnson’s power helped him claim victory at a course that was already a favorite to the big hitters. The Plantation Course at Kapalua is a par-73, 7,411-yard course.  The South Carolina star also performed admirably with his new TaylorMade RocketBladez irons by finding 89% of the greens in regulation and follows Sergio Garcia as the second player to win using the clubs. It has been launched with much fanfare, but that is OK when there is a significant technical improvement. In this case it is the speed pocket on the sole of the club which allows the face to flex more to generate more ball speed and hence distance. Following the massively-successful Taylormade R11s Driver . The new R1 continues TaylorMade’s mastery of adjustable drivers by offering the greatest range of adjustability of any driver in the brand’s history. The R1’s three adjustability technologies allow it to be tuned 168 different ways to specifically fit a player’s swing to optimize distance and accuracy. R1’s wide range of lofts and face angles, along with its movable shot-shape weights, allow this single driver model to be tuned to fit the widest range of players, from Tour pros to high handicaps.   About the Author: 相关的主题文章:
